When are they going to attach the necessary equipment to be able to tow it behind their motorhome?

How sad of a camper were you?

Are they going to remove the rest of the protective film from the roof?

Have they grown giant red noses and doubled their shoe size?

Not yet!

Have you tried setting a Ford Excursion on the roof yet?

Once they get a motorhome, I guess. Haha.

Soon. They got it as a 2015 with 10 miles.

It was funny. Not as slow as I expected and also not as cheap feeling as I expected. It got up to 60 MPH on the highway no problem, but rides like a Red Ryder wagon.

No. But I did take a side-by-side photo with the 6.

I heard grandparents and SMART car and ran it through wolfram alpha and it suggested a 97% chance that it will be towed behind a motorhome in the next year...better tell them to get on it.

Was the “Nana” plate a factory option, or something the dealership added to make a sale?

What kind of gas mileage did you get? How does the stupid transmission feel?
![]() 08/21/2016 at 13:20 |

Not sure on MPG but it feels like a stick shift. Hesitated just like one. Like the old S10 I drove that my friend had.

That’s one she had made 20 years ago! We all call her “Nana”, even me. And it’s my wife’s grandma.

If you fart and sneeze at the same time with the windows up do the doors blow off?
![]() 08/21/2016 at 13:22 |

Didn’t try that but they lock automatically when you put it in gear.

As a "get around the city" car, does it serve it's purpose? How loaded with tech is it?

It does. Very well. It's very nimble and stops well. Super easy to back up and park, too.
It has heated seats, Nav, Bluetooth, power windows and locks with keyless entry, a CD player, a USB and auxiliary port, a power plug (car charger plug in), and stability control. I am not sure what trim level it is (Pure, Passion, etc.).

Well, they shouldn’t feel that cheap, they are manufactured by Mercedes Benz. :)

That badge placement really bugs me, I was used to this one:
I do like the silver steelies though, no silly hubcaps.

The steel wheels suggest it’s a Pure trim level, but some of the features (silver safety cell, heated seats, power windows, navigation) tell me it might have been a special build intended for a car2go fleet, later sold as a private vehicle if they produced too many. Carmax has a lot of 2015 Fortwos equipped just like this (down to the white rocker panels and silver safety cell).

That makes sense! There was a fleet of 20 or so that showed up here and were sold to various dealers around town. They were all from the same outfit down in Tennessee.
